Deborah is a highly experienced professional with a proven track record of over seven years in project monitoring, stakeholder coordination, and collaboration. She has worked in several prominent organizations such as BRAC-Uganda, ADRA, and the Jesuit Refugee Service, where she served as the Business Innovation Officer on the Kampala Urban Project, which aimed to support refugees and vulnerable individuals by providing access to financial literacy skills, quality hands-on education, and market/employment linkages.

Deborah is deeply passionate about enhancing people’s living standards, and as such, has undergone several professional trainings such as Accountability to the Affected Population (AAP), Gender Mainstreaming, Child Protection, and Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse. Additionally, she is a certified trainer of financial literacy using both the UNCDF and BOU financial literacy curricula. These trainings have enabled her to add value to her work and deliver high-quality services to the individuals she serves.

Deborah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Ethics and Development Studies from Uganda Martyrs University, which has equipped her with a solid understanding of community service and development.
