Uganda National Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Alliance (UNREEEA) is an umbrella network of over 360 member companies and enterprises in the biomass, hydro, solar and energy efficiency sub-sectors in Uganda.
ASIGMA was contracted to conduct capacity building training for UNREEEA member companies with the intent of improving their internal structures, business planning, forecasting and “investor awareness” so as to make them investable.
Highlights
Situational analysis was done with the support of Africa-EU Renewable Energy Cooperation Programme (RECP). This enabled the design of contextualised training materials.
Engagement and support from the team at UN Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) to prepare local companies for the Renewable Energy Challenge Fund – Solar Window.
