ASIGMA signs MoU with Gov’t of Uganda’s Microfinance Support Center

Microfinance Support Centre (MSC) is a Government institution that was set up in 2001 to manage microcredit funds on behalf of the Government of Uganda. With an annual budget of UGX 20-40B and 12 branches, the company offers affordable credit and business development services to SACCOs, Producer Cooperatives, Microfinance Institutions, and SMEs, with priority being on offering support to SACCOs and Groups to increase productivity.

The purpose of the MOU is to support MSC’s financial resources mobilization (diversified financing base), capacity building, market research and product development strategies taking into consideration the needs and opportunities that exist at global, regional and national levels.
