Kevin is a seasoned finance professional with a wealth of experience and expertise in corporate finance, investment analysis, and financial modelling. He holds a Master of Commerce in Finance, bringing a strong analytical background to tackle complex financial challenges and promote sound decision-making.
Kevin's career journey reflects his passion for driving value through smart financial management.
He began his career in Finance at ASIGMA as an intern, providing project support before working his way up to the role of Investment Analyst with the firm. As part of his master’s program, Kevin interned with Flagship Asset Management, a specialist global boutique asset manager in Cape Town, South Africa. While there, he developed his capacity in conducting share price valuations for local and offshore stocks, as well as navigating buy-side transactions.
Prior to re-joining ASIGMA, Kevin worked as an Investment Analyst with XSML Capital Uganda. In this role, he was tasked with investigating the investment readiness of potential clients through building financial models, deal administration, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
He is intrigued by the role that smart financial management can play in creating value for shareholders in both public and private companies. His goal is to increase awareness of the availability and ability of financial tools that promote desirable returns on investments in Uganda.
Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Quantitative Economics from Makerere University, an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business from ACCA and a Master of Commerce degree in Finance, specializing in Corporate Finance and Valuations from the University of Cape Town.
