Prior to joining ASIGMA, Paul worked at National Water and Sewerage Corporation, heading the Department of Billing, Data Management, and IT in the Tororo sub-region. He oversaw a portfolio of more than 430 million shillings and managed to see revenues grow by more than 33% in the time that he was there.
He has always been passionate about finance, and helped establish the budding finance and investment firm, Midas Capital LLC, where he was a financial Advisor and developed their constitution and IPS design template. Paul has also volunteered at Balloon Ventures under the ICS program which focuses on developing small businesses in rural areas and providing finance to struggling businesses.
Paul studied Economics and Management at UCU where he graduated with honors and also won a scholarship to study Social Accountability at MS-TCDC in Arusha Tanzania. He is currently pursuing his CFA designation and is a level II candidate.
Paul likes to travel, read, and play sports, particularly rugby, which he learned while staying in New Zealand. He has won a national school’s title in the sport as well as several other accolades, including the prestigious Herat Award at King’s College Budo.
