Samson began his career as a research analyst under the UNIDO/EPRC Investor Survey where he gained experience in investment climate analysis by working with investors and entrepreneurs. He later joined DFCU Bank where he was involved in transaction maintenance, asset and liability acquisition, credit scoring for businesses and personal clients, cash flow analysis and financial consultancy.
Samson has been able to use these tasks to provide a different range of banking products across diverse sectors including financial services, FMCG, transport and healthcare, manufacturing, agri-business, telecommunications and media. Leveraging on his experience as a banker to Small and Medium Enterprises, Samson has been actively involved in sourcing deals for Private Equity firms in East Africa. From this experience, he has been able to learn the challenges and needs of businesses and is passionate about developing and growing these businesses into large entities with endless opportunity.
Samson earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Actuarial Science from Makerere University.
