Throughout her career, Shiba has supported government and international partners on various research assignments. For example, she was involved in the first National AIDS Spending Assessment conducted for Uganda and supported PEPFAR in estimating the cost of differentiated antiretroviral service delivery models in the country. Additionally, she has supported GAVI during the yearly full-country evaluation of the immunization system and assisted the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation during a rapid assessment of the immunization country multi-year plans (cMYPs).
She is passionate about inspiring and motivating teams towards collaborative goals. She is dedicated to contributing to child and maternal causes in her free time, and also enjoys reading and traveling.
Shiba holds a Bachelor’s degree in Development Economics from Makerere University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree from the University of Edinburgh.
