Wilson Kiggundu
Chief Technology Officer
After graduating from university, Wilson joined Computer Frontiers International as a Systems Specialist where he worked on several software systems as well as managed the .UG domain name registry.
In 2013, he joined Laboremus Uganda Limited, a Ugandan-based software consultancy firm headquartered in Oslo, Norway, as a Senior Software Engineer primarily responsible for building customized software systems for the leading banks in the Scandinavian region where he set up and managed a world-class team of software engineers.
Wilson was the lead software architect for Emata, a Ugandan Fintech focused on becoming the first fully digital bank in Uganda. He later joined The Innovation Village as the Chief Technology Officer, where he set up the Technology and Data division which turned the organization into a fully data-driven organization.
Wilson is a Microsoft Certified Data Science professional with a focus on Machine learning and Business Intelligence. He is also a Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer with a specialty in Full-stack Software Development. He holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering degree from Makerere University.
