Jackie is a results-oriented and multifaceted leader who is passionate about innovation and application of technology to solve industry problems, as well as crafting and executing strategic initiatives leading to the attainment of business goals.
Jackie has acquired expertise and extensive knowledge in the agribusiness sector, dealing with engineering technologies and utilizing engineering strategies to address problems, improve efficiency and increase productivity.
Prior to joining ASIGMA, she was working in the operations department of UGACOF where she immersed herself in understanding the coffee supply and value chains coupled with developing applicable mechanisms during coffee processing to improve product quality and increase operational efficiency.
She has also interned at NARO under AEATREC on a project in collaboration with Engineering Solutions aimed at the transformation of subsistence agriculture to commercial agriculture in Uganda through mechanization, where her team successfully assembled tractors and farm implements given to farmers as supporting alternatives to boosting agricultural production in the country.
Jackie graduated with a BSc degree in Agricultural Engineering from Makerere University.
