Paul Ntegeka

Systems Analyst

Paul previously worked at Associates Research Trust, a local consortium of land tenure scholars and members of the national land policy working group Uganda, as a Research Analyst. He received a grant from the research consortium to carry out an assessment for the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development on the effect of land certification on creating secure land tenure for rural communities in Uganda. While at this role, he also supported surveys commissioned by the International Food Policy Research Institute, the World bank, International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), and several other notable entities. He particularly took lead in designing tools for computer assisted person interviews and conducting trainings for enumerators.

Paul is passionate about the use of data analysis and business intelligence tools to add value to organisations. He is proficient in R having and has used packages like Shiny and ggplot2 to generate interactive infographics and quantitative insights for different categories of stakeholders. Additionally, Paul is familiar with the Django rest framework adding it to front end JavaScript frameworks to build interactive data visualization dashboards. He is also a flutter enthusiast and uses the cross-platform technology to bring the transformative insight of interactive data visualization to mobile applications.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Statistics from Makerere University.
